1. Agreement

2. What Ulbo is — and is not

Ulbo is a journalling app that uses AI to reflect your own writing back to you.

Ulbo is not a medical device, not therapy, not counselling, and not a crisis service. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Nothing it says is medical or psychological advice. It is not monitored by a human, and writing something in Ulbo does not alert anyone.

If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional or one of the crisis services listed in the app. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

3. Age

4. AI-generated content

Ulbo's reflections are generated by an AI language model. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or simply wrong about you. Treat them as a prompt for your own thinking, not as fact and not as advice. You are responsible for how you act on anything Ulbo says.

5. Your content

What you write stays yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process it in order to generate your reflections, as described in the [Privacy Policy](./privacy-policy.md).

Do not use Ulbo to store other people's personal information, or to submit unlawful content.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to Ulbo or its systems, or use it to build a competing service. We apply fair usage limits and may suspend access that abuses the service.

7. Availability

Ulbo is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Ulbo. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
